Stewardship Events

ESC offers various stewardship events throughout the year to promote connection with our shared waterways and help to create healthier habitats for all.

April 20, 2024: 12:30-4:00 PM

Come celebrate Earth Day with some work outdoors at Hilltop Park in Burien! This event is led by youth interns from Innovation High School along with DirtCorps and Green Burien Partnership. We will be doing restoration work, enjoying food together, and more. We will have tools, materials, and food for all!

This event is open to all ages, but youth under the age of 14 need an adult present. Program will be held outside, dress for the weather. Borrow our tools or bring your own garden gloves to participate!

September 21, 2024: 10:00 AM-12:00 PM

Join ESC, at Seahurst Park, as we participate in the largest, global ocean cleanup event of the year! Started by the Ocean Conservancy, volunteers and organizations around the world come together to remove debris from our beaches and waterways. Use our cleanup supplies or bring your own gloves and buckets and add some funky finds to the Salmon Trash Sculpture. Groups will venture along the walking paths, beach front, and hiking trails of Seahurst to remove trash.

All ages are welcome! All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Programs will be held outside, partially on the beach. Dress for the weather and be prepared to get wet. Learn more about this event and how to use the Clean Swell App here.
